Our Story
Sirens Bay was born from a relentless desire to share with foreigners aspects of our beloved land, Campania region.
It stems from the urgent need to show that, beyond the iconic touristic destinations, there is so much more to discover.
Our goal is to highlight lesser-known areas and reveal a different facet of Naples, the Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast: a more authentic version of the Bay of Sirens. How can we achieve this?
By connecting you with locals: farmers, artisans, and local food and wine masters. We will be your window into a world shaped by hard work and passion, where people choose not to leave or conform to globalisation, but instead want to fight with a smile—true to the Neapolitan spirit—to keep the precious arts and crafts alive.
And they can’t wait to share their knowledge with you!

We will be satisfied only when you discover our land's authenticity—a piece of your heart will remain in the Sirens Bay forever.

We believe in the “slow tourism” philosophy, focused on relaxation and discovering “off the beaten track” destinations.
It allows you to appreciate the region completely without feeling overwhelmed by the modern-day plague of overtourism.

What About the “Sirens Bay” Name?
In Homer’s Odyssey, we are told of a land inhabited by a group of Sirens.
According to Greek mythology, they were good-looking, half-human, half-bird creatures who lured sailors with their sublime voices to brutally feed off their flesh.
Ulysses, the most curious of all travellers, came up with a clever trick to listen to the Sirens’ song without falling victim to it. He forced his crew to plug their ears with wax to keep them safe and asked to be tied to the ship’s mast so he couldn’t move.
His cunning worked: he heard the Sirens’ song and survived the passage unharmed. Devastated by the failure of their enchantment, the Sirens hurled themselves from the high cliffs and perished.

Among them was Parthenope, whose body washed ashore on the islet of Megaride. When it dissolved into the land, the city of Naples was born.
Therefore, the Bay of Sirens was none other than the Bay of Naples, with the island of Capri at its heart, still known today as “the island of the Sirens". Locals believe the island’s silhouette resembles a woman’s body lying on her side.
But the legends don’t end there: throughout the Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast, tales and myths emerged, keeping their ancient magic alive to this day.
